My favorite picture of EKS

Around The World

EKS had a program at school called around the world in which they taught us about different countries and cultures. It was alot of fun and was followed by a reception that featured some of the foods from these countries. EKS was hula girl.

Look at our little hula girl

These are all the hula girls dong their part

This is where she would be when it wasn't her part

What a beautiful hula girl that is growing up soo fast!

This is one of the little girls in her class

Half Marathon

So I have a friend that is like Forrest Gump...she loves to run! She would run all day if she didn't have three girls to take care of everyday. Well she talked me into my very first run in May of 2008 which was a 15K. We had a good time and i enjoyed that run. This time around she talked me into a little bit more...about 4 miles more. We ended up signing up for a half marathon in Orlando at Disney. First of all Disney is such a fun place to run!!! You are entertained the whole time you run...very fun!! So we headed down on a sat. with our friends. Girls were running and guys were going to cheer us on.

                                                                            Our driver
We had to be at the race at 5am and started racing at a little after 6am. To accomplish this we had to wake up at 3:30 so we could leave about 4:15...I am NOT a morning person, but did really well that morning.
                                                           Me and Forrest Gump

You start the race at epcot run through the magic kingdom and finish back at epcot. As you can see it was dark...AKA early when we got there.

There were 13,000 runners, can you imagine looking for a runner in this sea?

Hey I actually saw the guys!

And the guys found Forrest

Me and my faithful cheerleader!!
I enjoyed the race alot and will run another hopefully, although the last mile was tough!

Here are the guys AKA cheerleaders.

Sister Love

Today for quiet time I was so tired that I took a nap. When I went to sleep I heard the big girls playing in their room, when I woke up it was very quiet!!! This is what I found...
I hope and pray that they always love and enjoy each other as much as they do now.

Art Show

Emma Kate's school had a talent show and art show. She and a friend wanted to do something, so we talked them into doing an art project so that i wouldn't have to do as much work getting a talent together, along with a costume, and time to practice gettting our talent together. So her friend came over and the girls worked on their art projects. We gave them a blank canvas and let them go to work. This is what EKS came up with.

My Accessory Girl

Lilly loves accessories! Here is just one example...
So note the sunglasses on the head, the infamous coat, and the bag hung over her arm! She loved this and spent part of the morning like this.

You have to make sure that you have everything that you need in your bag, she is double checking.

Bubble Beards

So the other day the girls were in the tub and having fun making bubble beards.
They did these beards all by themselves and it was funny.

She is trying not to talk, keeping the bubbles out of her mouth.

I can't believe that i got a smile...usually she gives me the serious face.

Youth Retreat

So I am WAY behind is keeping you guys posted!!! We had a youth retreat a while ago now and of course the girls and I went and had a blast!! The girls love the attention that they get and the fun things that they get to do.
Lilly and Elizabeth in the bus riding down to the creek to play.

Loving the fact that my youngest is still in her pj's!!

Here are the big girls playing and exploring in the water with some bigger girls. They are LOVING it.

Don't you love the poses that the girls chose?
I am a great mom!! I let my 18 month old play with fireworks!!! How did that happen? p.s. i think it is empty

Here is our family hanging out at the creek, enjoying the water and the students.

Emma Kate found a treasure...this cool rock that she feel in love with.

And of course the coat that Lilly can't live without!! She takes it almost everywhere, sometimes we have to hide it.

And here are my teenagers eating leftover pizza and loving every minute of it!!!

Lilly loves pizza and the fact that she gets to eat it in the car with her older sisters. She is trying so hard to big and do things by herself!
One more cute picture of Lilly.
