So i have been out of touch for a while. First of all we had pioneer day at school, all the kids dressed up and this is what our pioneer looked like...
Thank you to one of our wonderful church families that lent us the costume. The night before Blake and I were headed to a basketball game when I realized that we did not have a costume... the Lord provided on that night!! I think that we ended up with a cute little pioneer...and she like the costume too!
THEN THE BABY SHOWER!!!
I was the blessed mom that got to have a five day vacation in WI with my parents, sister-in-law, and brother...Let me REPEAT myself...FIVE WHOLE DAYS!!! Blake had the girls. My sister-in-law and i headed to WI for a baby shower, she is expecting their first baby. It was a wonderful trip, the weather was really cold but it was fun. You know that it has been really cold when you have a sunny day with no wind, a temperature of ZERO and you head out for a walk in the snow because it is a beautiful day!! The baby shower was great! Mom and elizabeth did all the hard work...Mom planned the shower and E is having the baby...i was along for the ride...and glad that i was invited!!!
Mom, Grandma, and E(the beautiful mother to be)!
Mom with one of our oldest and dearest friends!!
Tupils, my favorite!!! Mom did a great job making everything girly and warm, although she usually does.
Not the best picture ever, but we only got one on my camera so this is what you get! Grandma, E, mom and me.
The shower was the reason for the trip but we did have a few extra days to hang out which was awesome!! I got the watch the NFC championship game with mom, dad, and Matt....which the Packers WON!!! That was tons of fun!!! I love the views that you get in WI during the winter, beautiful scenes everywhere. There was a minor miracle while we where there...it was sunny every day...that hardly ever happens, usually winter days are cloudy and gray.
The view from the porch
A beautiful sunset from mom and dads porch
Than you everyone for a wonderful trip...blake for keeping the girls, E and Josh for having a baby, mom for planning the shower, and dad for being our chauffeur.
